There is a spacious redwood deck off the dining area and a viewing porch off the living room. It has a very private feel.

This area has some of the best Winter activities found in Colorado. There is downhill skiing and snowboarding at Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Sol Vista - all within 20 minutes. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sleigh rides are available at Snow Mountain Ranch and Devil's Thumb.

Summer activities include hiking, biking, golf, fishing, river-rafting, and horseback riding. Nearby golfing is availible at Sol Vista, Pole Creek, and Arrowhead to name a few. There is great fishing on the Fraser and Colorado Rivers. Rocky Mountain National Park offers hiking, wildlife-viewing, and other sightseeing.
